Multipass and cavity enhanced laser spectroscopy

AMAC set upQuantum cascade laser sensing techniques based on cavity enhanced techniques (OF-CEAS, CEAS, CRDS) as well as multipass asorption cells have been developed for ultra-low concentration environmental sensing and  the investigation of molecular non linear spectroscopy phenomena.

Who we are

The Spectroscopy Group of RAL Space carries out R&D on novel concepts and instruments for high-precision laser-based hyperspectral sensing, aiming to pioneer the development of the next generation of sensing systems needed for the demanding applications of atmospheric, space sciences, and beyond. It also offers a unique high resolution Fourier Transform facility to support many areas of science.
